Annual Report of Bidar branch

Through the Bidar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, Ramzan ration worth Rs.1800000 was distributed to 1200 poor and deserving households during Ramzan. Safa tailoring centre has been established to make women and girls self-reliant, where five sewing machines have been kept, and through which a batch of 8 girls has completed and tailoring training is being provided to 30 more girls. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 5 large animals was performed and the meat distributed in areas surrounding Bidar. Assistance of Rs.12000 was provided for marriages of poor girls. Funeral and burial of unclaimed bodies was performed. Participating in the signature campaign of the Muslim Personal Law Board and forms were distributed and the signed forms were emailed. Educational kits worth Rs.1100 were distributed to students of Madrasa Badr-ul-Uloom. During winter, 160 Blankets were distributed at public places irrespective of religion to people distressed with cold. Free ambulance service was arranged at government hospital for poor patients. To facilitate relief services, scrap collection has been launched. It has been planned to establish computer training centre and distribute pensions to poor widows.
