Through the Gulbarga branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like every month, during the current month too, pensions totalling Rs.8000 were given to 8 deserving widows. Pensions of Rs.80000 were distributed to poor deserving widows of Chittapur. Pensions totalling Rs.80000 were distributed in various deserving areas. A sum of Rs.5000 was given for the marriage of a poor girl. Ramzan ration packages were given after investigation to 450 poor deserving fasting households of Gulbarga and surrounding villages. The process of providing aid to deserving imams and muezzins has been initiated. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid packages were distributed to deserving people. A sum of Rs.40000 was provided to deserving disabled people who cannot earn.

Through the Gulbarga branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions totalling Rs.5500 were distributed to 7 poor widows. Likewise, monthly assistance of Rs.1000 had been provided to 3 disabled persons belonging to same household. 10 sarees worth Rs.10000 were given for 4 different deserving marriages and assistance through Rs.3000 cash was provided for another deserving marriage. On the arrival of central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi in Gulbarga, Safa Shariat helpline, Safa computer centre and Safa water plant were established. In view of summer, water facilities have been arranged at various intersections, bus stand, railway station and hospitals to serve cool and clean drinking water. A meeting for women titled 'rights of people and service to humanity' was held at Metro Function Hall, Ring Road, Gulbarga chaired by the central president and he distributed certificates to the students who completed training at Safa tailoring centre. A thought-provoking speech was given by renowned scholar, Moulana Ahmed Siraj Sahab Umri Qasmi, president of Jamiat Ulema, Dharwad on the topic 'responsibilities of scholars in present circumstances' at Madrasa Tajweed-ul-Quran.

Through the Gulbarga branch of Safa Baitul Maal, pensions totalling Rs.5500 were distributed to 7 poor widows this month. Likewise, monthly assistance of Rs.1000 had been provided to 3 disabled persons belonging to same household. Under self-employment scheme, a free tailoring centre has been established in Ramangadh village in Chincholi taluqa. Due to acute shortage of water, a sum of Rs.12850 was provided for the repair of borewell. Assistance through essential items worth Rs.6000 was provided to a poor household. A sum of Rs.5500 was provided for the marriage of a deserving girl. Water facilities shall be arranged at various intersections during summer and on the 25th of March, certificates shall be distributed to 60 women and girl students completing training at the tailoring centre, through the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab.

Annual Report of Gulbarga branch

Through the Gulbarga branch of Safa Baitul Maal, 500 Ramzan ration packages and other commodities worth Rs.300000 were distributed to deserving people and widows during Ramzan. During the summer season, arrangement was made to serve clean and cool water at intersections, bus stand and railway station. During winter, 100 blankets and apparel were distributed at various locations to people distressed with cold.  In order to make poor women self-reliant, five tailoring centres have been established where hundreds of women are receiving tailoring training. As of now, certificates were issued to 48 women and sewing machines have been distributed to 48 deserving women. Meetings on the topics of ‘social reform and protection of Shariat’ and ‘funeral and burial’ were held. Pensions of Rs.3500 were distributed to 7 poor widows. Monthly assistance of Rs.1000 was provided to three disabled members of a same family. Partial assistance was provided for the marriages of 25 deserving girls. Scholarships were given to students receiving higher education. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 40 large animals was performed and the meat distributed to poor households in various villages. Assistance was provided for treatment to 15 poor patients suffering from different diseases. Assistance through 10 push-carts and one cycle was provided to 11 unemployed persons for business. Fruits and water was distributed to patients in various hospitals. It has been resolved to conduct medical camps, create Khuddam-e-Deen fund, start ambulance service and establish two more tailoring centres.

Through the Gulbarga branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions totalling Rs.3000 were distributed to 6 poor widows. Likewise, assistance of Rs.1000 had been provided to 3 disabled persons of same household. Rs.3000 had been given to deserving student for payment of fees and one quintal rice was provided for the marriage of a poor girl. 23 girl students and women received training through the second batch of Safa tailoring centre. In this connection, a meeting for women on the topic of 'status of women and their responsibilities' was held chaired by the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi in which certificates were distributed to 23 students who completed training. Two more tailoring centre have been established at 2 different locations.
