Through the Hingoli branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions were distributed to a few poor households and widows. Second tailoring centre has been setup under self-employment scheme, through which about 55 poor girls are receiving training while 64 girls are receiving training through the first tailoring centre. 50 kg rice was provided for the marriage of a poor girl. A government school was visited and speeches were given to generate the spirit of service to humanity in students and prizes were distributed to brilliant students. In view of winter, shawls and blankets were distributed to about 30 poor people living at bus stand and railway station. On the occasion of Friday, speeches on the topic of social reform were given to generate the spirit of service to humanity in the general public.

Through the Hingoli branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions were distributed to 4 poor households. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 4 large animals was performed and the meat distributed in slums like Jola Bazaar, Balapur and Jolapal and in localities like Mastan Shah Nagar, Bawankhoti, Azam Colony, Zamzam Colony, Mominpura, Jamalwadi, Pension Pura, Topkhana and other locations. 50 kg rice was provided for the marriage of a poor girl. A free tailoring centre with 8 sewing machines has been established under self-employment scheme for providing training to poor girls. The government schools were visited and speeches were given to inculcate the spirit of service to humanity in students and prizes were also distributed to them.

Through the Hingoli branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, monthly pensions were distributed to 4 poor households. A sum of Rs.2600 was given to 4 poor and distressed patients. Assistance through one quintal rice and Rs.1000 cash was provided for the marriages of 3 poor girls. Ramzan ration and cash assistance was provided to about 120 poor deserving households. Sheer Khorma feast was arranged for students of religious schools surrounding Hingoli and students were informed about the current situation and essential travel precautions. On this occasion, almost all the scholars and Huffaz of Hingoli were present. Uniforms and educational articles were distributed to 32 students belonging to 5 schools. In order to create the sense of service to humanity in formal schools, two programmes were conducted and prizes were distributed to students. To generate the sense of service to humanity, social reform speeches are conducted every Friday in Hingoli and surroundings. On arrival of the president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi in Hingoli, an elocution competition of religious school students was held. And a grand public meeting was also held in which after the address of the president, prizes were distributed to students standing first, second and third in the competition. A large gathering participated in the meeting and it was resolved to strengthen the services of the Hingoli branch of Safa.

Annual Report of Hingoli branch

Through the Hingoli branch of Safa Baitul Maal, services were being were carried out on various occasions in the past few years; on the occasion of the traning session of Maharashtra state held in Latur last year, a delegation from Hingoli participated and on return all the participants resolved to carry out services through the Hingoli branch of Safa Baitul Maal in an organised manner; in this connection, a delegation went to the central office in Hyderabad for training and was very impressed with the management of services and later a formal branch was established in Hingoli. Through the Hingoli branch of Safa Baitul Maal, various welfare services are being carried out, the brief outline of which is being presented:

Monthly pension is being provided to 2 poor households. Assistance was provided to 30 poor widows during Ramzan. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 5 large animals was performed in slums of Hingoli and adjoining villages and the meat was distributed in a systematic manner in different villages. Emergency assistance was provided to many patients suffering from various diseases, students and travellers. On the occasion of the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal, at the instruction of the centre, six meetings were held in Hingoli and villages on the topic of ‘Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) and reformation of society’. With various delegations numerous visits were made to the government hospital and fruits and other items were distributed to the patients. Assistance though rice, oil, vegetables and kirana was provided for three deserving marriages. During winter, blankets were distributed to poor people spending nights helplessly at roadsides, footpaths, bus stands and public places. Programmes were conducted to instil the sense of service to humanity in school students and the students were asked different questions and prizes were distributed to the students giving answers. To instil the sense of service to humanity in public of Hingoli and surroundings, sermons on the topic of optimisation of society were given every Friday. Activate participation was made in the signature campaign of All India Muslim Personal Law Board; forms were filled and emailed to Law Commission and the hard copies of the forms was sent to the office of Muslim Personal Law Board.
