Through the Jalna branch of Safa Baitul Maal, the amount of 149 shares for performing Qurbani in flood affected areas of Bihar was despatched through the centre. This apart, with assistance from the centre, Qurbani of 4 large animals was performed and meat distributed in surrounding villages. Partial assistance of Rs.5000 was provided to a impoverished person.

Through the Jalna branch of Safa Baitul Maal, in view of Ramzan, 260 Ramzan ration packages and 200 Eid packages were distributed to poor households.  Monthly pensions were provided to 8 poor women.

Through the Jalna branch of Safa Baitul Maal, one-day funeral and burial camp was held. The central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi gave compassionate address at the traning camp and public meeting and compelled the audience to introspect. The Muftis associated with the central Safa Baitul Maal and experienced people explained all the stages from the last breath to mourning in the light of Quran and Sunnat. More than 500 people participated in this camp. With assistance from the central Safa Baitul Maal, borewell was installed in Khaja Nagar, Jalna and a 2000-litre water tank was also installed. Chairs were supplied to about 10 religious meetings and programmes. On the occasion of Ramzan, survey of beneficiaries for Ramzan ration distribution is being done and wealthy individuals are being associated.

Through the Jalna branch of Safa Baitul Maal, an advisory meeting of the in-charge persons of the Jalna branch of Safa was held in connection with successful conduct of one-day funeral and burial training camp and public meeting scheduled on 30th March and five-member reception committee has been formed for final preparation for the training camp and meeting. In this connection, advertisements, special invitations and announcements during Friday sermons have been made; one thousand copies of the book 'Sakrat se Taziyat tak' authored by Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab, central president of Safa Baitul Maal India have been published to be distributed to participants of the programme. In addition, various programmes on the topic of message of humanity by the central president have been scheduled on 31st March in Jafferabad and other areas abutting Jalna, for which consultation and supplementary meeting was held under the guidance of the in-charge persons of Jalna branch. Likewise, it was determined to visit other taluqas of Jalna. In addition, pensions were given to 6 poor widows this month.

Through the Jalna branch of Safa Baitul Maal, assistance totalling Rs.60000 was provided for treatment to patients suffering from various diseases. During Ramzan, three meetings were held on the subject of service to humanity and Islam in which there had been speeches by the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab and Ramzan ration packages were distributed to 200 poor households and Eid packages were also distributed to same number of deserving households and on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, new clothes were also given to poor children. In addition, assistance of about Rs.30000 was arranged for the representatives of Madrasatul Safa who arrived from Assam. On the occasion of Independence Day, the government hospitals of Jalna were visited and about 250 patients were enquired and fruits and biscuits were distributed to the patients. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, programmes were conducted on the subject of ‘Seerat-e-Ibrahim and purpose of Qurbani’ and due to restrictions on Qurbani in Maharashtra, amount of about 26 animals was sent to the centre and Qurbani of 6 large animals was performed in Jalna and meat distributed to poor people. And the income generated from animal skins was spent on widows. To provide financial stability to the Jalna branch, scrap collection campaign was launched and from the income generated from the recovered items, a scrap warehouse costing about Rs.200000 has been built. During winter, sweaters were distributed to 50 students of madrasas abutting Jalna and sheets were distributed to destitute people living on footpaths. During the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal, on the instructions of central Safa Baitul Maal, six-day service to humanity awareness campaign was run and during this campaign mind-development of students of about 30 schools and madrasas had been done and chocolate to students and notebooks to a few students were distributed. And at the end of the campaign, three meetings on the subject of ‘Seerat-un-Nabi and service to humanity’ were held and in these meetings, Moulana Syed Ahmed Wameez Nadvi Sahab gave faith-refreshing speeches. In these meetings there was large gathering of scholars, women and Muslim brethren. It has been intended to issue pensions in a systematic manner to widows in the year 2017. Likewise it has also been determined to start other regular services as well. The signature campaign of All India Muslim Personal Law Board had been conducted successfully in Jalna in collaboration with Dar-ul-Qaza. In the meanwhile, at the behest of Qazi-e-Shariat, Jalna, the photocopies of the weekly message of the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab, ‘Payam-e-Rashadi’ titled ‘clarification of the issue of Talaq and present circumstances’ were provided to the speakers. 10 kg each of cooking wood was supplied to Madrasa Faiz-ul-Uloom and Irshad-ul-Uloom.

Through the Jalna branch of Safa Baitul Maal, in view of winter season, sweaters were distributed to 16 deserving students of an institution named Dar-ul-Uloom Zakariya and warm quilts were given to footpath dwellers. Medical assistance of Rs.5000 was provided to a poor sick person. Loan of Rs.3000 was provided to a distressed person.
