Annual Report of Juntur branch

Through the Juntur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, bore wells were installed in four villages during the summer in 2016. Ramzan ration packages were distributed to about 600 deserving poor households in the month of Ramzan and on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, clothes were distributed to 200 poor children and milk was distributed to 200 deserving households. This apart, 3000 pairs of clothes to people affected due to floods in Hingoli district, Sheer khorma material to 200 poor households and 10 quintals food grains were also distributed. And, special Ramzan package was provided to 10 deserving religious workers. 4 pairs of clothes and garments were distributed to non-Muslim students of two Marathi schools. Assistance of Rs.11000 was provided for treatment to 8 patients suffering from various diseases. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 6 large animals was performed and the meat distributed to poor households in various villages. Assistance of Rs.50000 was provided to various couples during mass marriages held on 15th January 2017. Signature campaign in support of Muslim Personal Law Board’s campaign against Uniform Civil Code was successfully organised.  A meeting on Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) was held at the Maktab of Safa and prizes were distributed to the students. Efforts were made for three days to extend the Eidgah of Juntur. A major dispute in Bhandari village was resolved through reconciliation. Cool and clean drinking water was arranged for two days during local Tablighi Ijtema.
