Through the Kalwakurthy branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions totalling Rs.12000 were distributed to 40 poor widows. Ration worth Rs.4000 was provided to 3 deserving people. Rs.2100 had been provided for morning schools. On commencement of new academic year in religious schools, educational kits worth Rs.4300 were distributed to the students. 5 tube lights were arranged for electricity poles at Old Eidgah Colony, Kalwakurthy incurring an expenditure of Rs.750. Assistance of Rs.500 was provided for medicines to a poor patient. Assistance of Rs.500 was provided to a visually challenged person. Accompanied by the locals, the in-charge persons of the Kalwakurthy branch of Safa toured various localities and encouraged the parents and guardians to enrol their children in religious schools. Since last two years, a sum of Rs.800 has been spent each month on the sponsorship of 2 poor girls.

Through the Kalwakurthy branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, monthly pensions totalling Rs.12900 were distributed to 43 deserving widows and disabled persons. Likewise, a sum of Rs.2100 was spent on morning religious schools. Rs.500 had been given to a deserving person. In view of summer, water facility has been setup at the government hospital to serve cool and clean drinking water. Rs.300 had been given for treatment to a poor patient. Educational materials were distributed to students of religious schools.

Annual Report of Kalwakurthy branch

Through the Kalwakurthy branch of Safa Baitul Maal, monthly pensions of Rs.12000 totalling Rs.144000 were distributed to poor widows and disabled people. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 8 large animals was performed and the meat distributed in the villages surrounding Kalwakurthy. During winter, blankets worth Rs.7000 were distributed to people distressed due to cold and deserving students of religious schools. During Ramzan, Ramzan ration worth Rs.12000 was distributed to poor fasting households. A sum of Rs.25200 has been spent on morning schools. Assistance through ration etc worth Rs.13300 was provided to poor accident victims and destitute widows. Rs.9000 was given for fees to students of religious schools and 11 needy students were helped in obtaining scholarships. A sum of Rs.6300 was spent on the establishment of new morning schools. A sum of Rs.12000 was spent on the setup of water pitchers to quench the thirst of people during summer. Participating in the signature campaign of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, home visits were made and signatures collected. 6300 signed forms were collected and sent to the central office of Safa Baitul Maal in Hyderabad.

Through the Kalwakurthy branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions totalling Rs.12000 were distributed to 40 poor widows. Rs.2100 had been spent on morning religious schools. In view of winter season, 40 blankets worth Rs.6000 were distributed with contributions from virtue-seekers to poor people spending nights on footpaths. A poor Muslim girl attempting self-immolation was transported by an ambulance to Hyderabad incurring an expenditure of Rs.1300.
