Welfare services of Karimnagar branch

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.40000 were distributed to 80 poor widows, disabled and poor people. A sum of Rs.1400 was given to a poor girl student for payment of exam fees. Assistance of Rs.5000 was provided to a poor ailing lady undergoing treatment in a hospital. A sum of Rs.2000 was provided for the marriage of a deserving girl. The central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab visited the Karimnagar branch of Safa on the 3rd of November and reviewed the office and addressed the staff. Later he inaugurated the third free tailoring centre established in Sawaran area under self-employment for women scheme. An expenditure of Rs.17000 has been incurred for the establishment of this tailoring centre. Apart from this, monthly pensions were distributed by the central president at Shalimar Function Hall and he also distributed certificates to women completing training at the tenth batch of Safa tailoring centre and he addressed the gathering. The central president gave a sermon before Friday prayer at Masjid-e-Mohammadi and after Juma addressed the scholars and Huffaz at MM Guest House. A sum of Rs.66500 has been despatched in two stages to the central Safa Baitul Maal towards Bihar Relief Fund for the construction of houses for flood victims.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.42500 were distributed to 85 poor widows, disabled and orphans. The surrounding backward localities of Karimnagar were surveyed and after identifying deserving, monthly pensions were enhanced. Assistance of Rs.2000 was provided for operation to a deserving lady patient. The old age home of Karimnagar was visited and fruits and bread were distributed over there. Examination was conducted on completion of tenth batch at the two tailoring centres being run under self-employment scheme. The central president of Safa Baitul Maal shall be visiting Karimnagar on the 3rd of November. On this occasion, the central president shall be distributing certificates at Shalimar Function Hall Kashmirgadh to the women who successfully completed the course at the tenth batch of tailoring centres and the third tailoring centre shall also be inaugurated. This apart, pensions shall also be distributed to poor widows and disabled people. In addition, the central president shall give the Friday sermon at Masjid-e-Mohammadi, Sehatnagar.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.40000 were distributed to 80 poor widows, disabled and poor people. Rs.2000 to a deserving household and Rs.600 for ticket to a needy traveller had been provided. Assistance of Rs.3500 was provided for treatment to patients suffering from different diseases. Assistance of Rs.4000 was provided for the marriages of 2 poor girls. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 10 large animals was performed and the meat distributed to about 300 households belonging to Karimnagar and its backward villages. Relief fund of Rs.32500 for Bihar flood victims was despatched to the centre.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.38000 were distributed to 76 poor widows and orphans. Various government schools of Karimnagar were toured and school bags worth Rs.24000 were distributed to 100 deserving students. 9 batches have completed at the two tailoring centres being run under the self-employment scheme for women and new batches have begun. Assistance of Rs.1000 was provided for the treatment of a poor patient. Assistance of Rs.4000 was provided for the marriages of 2 deserving girls. A meeting of the members of the Safa was held under the supervision of the in-charge of Karimnagar branch, Moulana Kazim-ul-Hussaini, in which the past performance was reviewed and it was resolved to improve and strengthen the performance in the future.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like last year, this year too, before the commencement of Ramzan, Ramzan ration packages worth Rs.4 lakhs were distributed to more than 200 poor fasting households. Like each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.38000 were distributed to 76 poor widows and orphans. The water facilities being functional at busy locations of Karimnagar for the past 3 months have been wound up; numerous people were benefited due to these facilities. Through these facilities, about 2 lakh litres of cool and clean water had been served. On completion of summer religious course classes held during summers at 3 different locations of Karimnagar, examination was conducted for the students and prizes were distributed to them. Rs.1300 was given for the treatment of a poor sick girl. Assistance of Rs.2000 was provided for the marriage of a deserving girl. The Karimnagar branch of Safa is grateful to the donors who contributed throughout the year and in Ramzan.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, as each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.37500 were distributed to 75 poor widows, disabled people and orphans. Assistance worth Rs.7500 through cash, cooler and rice was provided for the marriages of 3 poor girls. Assistance of Rs.1300 was provided for treatment to a deserving sick woman. In view of summer, about 1500 litres of cool and filtered water is being served through water facilities setup at 2 public locations of Karimnagar. On the successful completion of the eighth batch at the 2 tailoring centres being run under self-employment scheme for women, certificates were awarded by the vice-president of Safa Baitul Maal, Mufti Abdul Mohaimin Azhar Al-Qasmi Sahab to girl students and women. On this occasion, the members of the Karimnagar branch of Safa, scholars, Huffaz and others were present. Since the past five years, the Karimnagar branch of Safa has been distributing ration to poor fasting households before the commencement of Ramzan. This year too, ration shall be distributed to about 300 poor households. The cost of each package is Rs.2000. Virtue-seekers are appealed to contribute through Zakat, Sadaqa and donations. Like previous years, this year too, free summer religious classes were conducted during the summer vacations of students of contemporary schools, through which numerous students were benefited. On completion of the course, examination was conducted for the students and prizes were distributed to them.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, as each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.36000 were distributed to poor widows, disabled and poor people and orphans. Assistance of Rs.1500 was provided for the marriage of a poor girl. Assistance of Rs.4500 was provided for treatment to 3 deserving patients suffering from different diseases. A delegation from Karimnagar branch of Safa conducted detailed survey of slums of Karimnagar and more than 100 houses in villages surrounding Karimnagar and provided suitable assistance to deserving people. In view of summer season, water facilities have been setup at busy locations of Karimnagar, the bus stand and government hospital to serve cool and clean water to passengers, wayfarers, patients and attenders, where 1500 litres of water is being served daily. During the current month, about 45000 litres of water has been served. Examinations were held at the 2 tailoring centres being run under self-employment scheme for women. The successful women and girls shall be awarded certificates by the vice-president of Safa Baitul Maal, Mufti Abdul Mohaimin Azhar Al-Qasmi Sahab on 5th May 2017 at Shalimar Function Hall, Karimnagar.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, as each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.41500 have been distributed to 83 poor widows and disabled people. Assistance of Rs.6000 was provided for payment of fees to 3 college and school students. Assistance through cash and ration worth Rs.20500 was provided to 3 poor widows. Assistance of Rs.4000 was provided for the marriages of 2 deserving girls. A sum of Rs.14400 was given for treatment to 3 needy patients. In view of summer season, water facilities have been setup at busy locations of Karimnagar, the bus stand and government hospital. The facility at government hospital has been inaugurated by Dr. Suhasini, superintendent of government hospital and that at the bus stand was inaugurated by Mr. Shank IAS, Municipal Commissioner Karimnagar. In order to supply additional water to these facilities, water coolers worth Rs.12000 have been purchased. The daily expenditure of each water facility is Rs.1000. In this connection, virtue-seekers are appealed for contributions.

Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, as each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.38500 have been distributed to 77 poor widows and disabled people. Assistance of Rs.2000 was provided for the marriage of a poor girl. A 45-member delegation headed by Moulana Kazim-ul-Hussaini Sahab, the in-charge of the Karimnagar branch of Safa, participated in the annual training session and public meeting of the central Safa Baitul Maal. As part of self-employment scheme for women, one more tailoring centre has been established in Godamgadh. A meeting of the members of Safa was held at the office of the Karimnagar branch of Safa, in which consultations in connection with summer were held and it has been decided to setup water serving facilities this year too as previous years, at two busy locations of Karimnagar, the bus stand and the government hospital and also to arrange free summer religious courses in various localities during summer vacations. Virtue-seekers are requested to contribute in this connection. Likewise, in the month of January, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.42500 had been distributed to 85 poor widows and disabled people. Assistance of Rs.5000 was provided for the marriages of 3 poor girls. Ration worth Rs.1000 was given to a poor person. Seerat-un-Nabi quiz competition was organised in schools of Karimnagar and prizes were given to successful students incurring an expenditure of more than Rs.2000. During winter, in the fourth and last stage, blankets were distributed in surrounding villages. Assistance of Rs.7500 was provided to 3 poor patients suffering from different diseases. Educational assistance of Rs.2500 to a needy student is recurrent. On the occasion of Republic Day, flag was hoisted at the office of the Karimnagar branch of Safa in the presence of scholars, Huffaz and members of Safa.

Annual Report of Karimnagar branch

The Kareemnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal was established in 2009. Under the supervision of Moulana Mohammad Kazim-ul-Hussaini Sahab and with a staff of 20 people, this branch is successfully performing various relief and welfare services. Due to its various relief and welfare services, the Kareemnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal has made a unique place among the residents of Kareemnagar in a very short period of time and gained popularity. Alhamdulillah, with its aims and objectives, sincere efforts of the members, assistance of the virtue-seekers and guidance of the central Safa Baitul Maal, the branch is engaged in the following relief and welfare services.

Pensions are distributed to 100 poor widows and disabled people each month on which a total expenditure of Rs.386900 has been incurred last year. Various hospitals of Kareemnagar town were toured, fruits were distributed to the patients and financial assistance was provided to deserving patients incurring an expenditure of Rs 51700.  Assistance through necessary items and cash totalling Rs.51700 was provided for the marriages of poor girls. Educational assistance worth Rs.31700 was provided to needy students. During the month of Ramzan, Ramzan ration worth Rs. 325000 was distributed to poor fasting households. During summer, cool filtered water was served at government hospital and bus stand at an expense of Rs. 85650. During summer holidays, arrangement for free religious classes for students was made on which Rs.15900 was spent. Under the employment scheme, two free tailoring centres have been established for women and girl students through which hundreds of students were benefited and certificates were issued to students completing the course; a sum of Rs.57053 was spent on this account. During winter, sweaters and blankets worth Rs.12380 were distributed to needy people distressed with severe cold. A sum of Rs.4200 was spent on the funeral and burial of unclaimed and poor bodies. Assistance of Rs.19900 was provided to financially distressed people. Relief fund of Rs24000 was collected for victims of natural disasters. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the Qurbani of large animals sent by the centre was performed and the meat distributed to the poor. Assistance of Rs.35764 was provided during religious reformative functions. On these relief and welfare services a total sum of Rs 1103917 was spent.

Aims and Objectives: Through the Kareemnagar branch of Safa, it has been planned to sponsor two or three disabled people, establish Safa Shariat helpline and conduct free mobile clinic camps in villages through purchase of a van. For the accomplishment of these aims and objectives, Safa Baitul Maal appeals to the virtue-seekers for generous contributions.

Welfare services of Karimnagar branch

    Through the Karimnagar branch of Safa Baitul Maal, as each month, this month too, pensions of Rs.500 each totalling Rs.42500 have been distributed to 85 poor widows and disabled people. Under the supervision of the head of the Karimnagar branch of Safa, Moulana Mohammed Kazim-ul-Hussaini Sahab, the members of Safa reached the destitute and helpless people spending chilly nights at footpaths, hospitals and other public places and distributed blankets to them; in addition, blankets were also distributed to poor and needy students of religious schools; a total expenditure of Rs.11580 has been incurred on this account. Rs.12200 had been given towards annual fees of 2 poor and deserving students studying in Gulf High School Karimnagar. Assistance of Rs.2500 had been given to 2 poor women suffering from different diseases. Rs.2000 had been given for the marriage of a deserving girl. Seven batches have completed at the tailoring centres being run under self-employment scheme for women, 500 women have befitted so far. Eighth batch has commenced from the 13th of December. Upon the insistence of women, setup of one more centre is under consideration.

    The central president of Safa Baitul Maal India visited the Karimnagar branch of Safa on the 2nd of December and met the workers of Safa and held discussion on the services of Safa and reviewed the performance. And he gave them valuable advice and prayed for them. On this occasion, the central president, guided by Hafiz Mohammed Moazzam Hussaini Faizi Sahab toured a religious residential institution and in view of the winter season distributed sweaters to all students present at the hostel. Likewise, guided by Hafiz Abdul Hakeem Khan Sahab, the central president toured the government hospital and enquired the patients irrespective of faith and distributed fruits to them. Under the aegis of the Karimnagar branch of Safa, a public meeting for women was organised at Shalimar Function Hall Kashmirgadh in which certificates were distributed by the central president to the women completing the seventh batch at the tailoring centre being run under self-employment scheme for women; and on the advice of the central president, enhancing Rs.100 each, pensions of Rs.500 each were distributed to poor widows and disabled persons. On this occasion, Jamiat-ul-Ulema Karimnagar praised the services of Karimnagar branch of Safa and expressing pleasure presented shawls to the central president and the president of Karimnagar branch. In this meeting the members of Karimnagar branch of Safa and others were present. The central president gave a sermon before Namaz-e-Juma at Masjid-e-Mahmoodia, Karkhanagadh on the topic of service to humanity; there was a large congregation on this occasion. After Namaz-e-Juma there was a prayer meeting and lunch at the residence of the head of Karimnagar branch of Safa, Moulana Mohammed Kazim-ul-Hussaini Sahab, attended by the workers of Karimnagar branch of Safa and scholars and Huffaz of town and other well-wishers and the meeting concluded upon supplication by the central president.
