Welfare services of Khanapur branch

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, monthly pensions totalling Rs.18000 were provided to 60 poor and disabled households. A poor patient whose both kidneys had failed was given Rs.3000 for treatment. Edible items worth Rs.4000 were provided for the marriage of an orphan girl. Awareness campaign is being conducted for inclusion of names in voters list.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions totalling Rs.18000 were distributed to poor widows and disabled households. In view of summer, water facilities have been setup at 2 public locations. This apart, under self-employment scheme for women, two summer tailoring centres and summer religious classes have been arranged in Barkatpura and Padmawati Nagar.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, pensions of Rs 18300 were distributed to 61 deserving widows and disabled people. Steel ware worth Rs.3500 was provided for the marriage of a deserving girl. Assistance of Rs.2000 was provided for operation to a poor appendix patient.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, ration was distributed to two poor households. The secretary of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Musaddiq ul Qasmi visited Khanapur on the 7th of December and on the occasion of Juma, gave a sermon at Jama Masjid Khanapur and after Maghrib addressed on the topic of Seerat in Maskapur village. At Masjid-e-Quba in Adankarti village, Iman and Khateeb Moulvi Shaik Rayees addressed on the topic of Seerat. The vice-president of Safa Baitul Maal, Mufti Abdul Mohaimin Azhar Al-Qasmi visited Khanapur on the 15th of December and addressed on the occasion of Juma. Later he addressed at Madrasa Ayesha Siddiqua Lil Banat on the topic of training of children. After this, the monthly pensions were distributed. After Namaz-e-Asr, an advisory meeting of the incharge persons of Khanapur branch was held under the supervision of the central vice-president. After Namaz-e-Isha, a meeting on the topic, Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW) and service to humanity was held under the aegis of the youth of Mominpura and Khanapur branch of Safa, chaired by Moulana Shahid Sahab Mazhari. This meeting was addressed by the central vice-president of Safa Baitul Maal Mufti Abdul Mohaimin Azhar Al-Qasmi and Janab Mohammad Abdul Muqtadir Imran, incharge of the branches of Safa Baitul Maal.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, monthly pensions totalling Rs.15000 were distributed to 50 deserving widows and disabled households. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani meat of the animals provided by the centre was distributed various villages abutting Khanapur.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, in view of Ramzan, the pensions of poor widows were enhanced by Rs.200 each and pensions totalling Rs.25000 were distributed. On the occasion of Ramzan, Ramzan ration worth Rs.1000 each totalling Rs.120000 was distributed to 120 poor households of Khanapur and its surroundings.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, pensions of Rs.300 were given to 50 poor widows and disabled households. In view of summer, cool and clean drinking water is being served through water facilities. On the occasion of Ramzan, it has been planned to distribute Ramzan ration packages worth Rs.1000 each totalling Rs.120000 to 120 poor households.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, pensions totalling Rs.15000 were given to 50 poor widows. Examination kits were distributed to 142 deserving tenth class students. Drinking water was arranged at SSC exam centres, students and guardians were benefited due to this service. This apart, guidance to people in filling forms for bank transactions is recurrent.

Annual Report of Khanapur branch

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, pensions of Rs.300 were given each month to 50 poor widows and disabled households; in this way pensions totalling Rs.180000 were issued last year. Monetary assistance was provided for treatment to 13 poor patients suffering from various diseases. Assistance through cash and essentials was provided for the marriages of 9 poor girls and certificates were distributed to 30 girls who completed training at the tailoring centre being run to make women and girls self-reliant. During summer, arrangement to serve cool and clean drinking water was made at 3 busy locations, through which thousands of people were benefited daily. Ramzan ration packages worth Rs.1000 each totalling Rs.120000 were distributed 120 households belonging to Khanapur and its surrounding villages. And, participating in the signature campaign of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, forms were obtained from the central Safa Baitul Maal and visiting surrounding mandals and villages, signatures were obtained and the signed forms were dispatched to the central office of Safa Baitul Maal.

Through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like each month, this month too, monthly pensions of Rs.300 each were distributed to destitute widows; in addition, partial assistance through essential items worth Rs.6600 was made available for the marriages of 2 poor girls.

In connection with the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal, upon instruction from the centre, Seerat-e-Nabi (SAW) meetings were held through the Khanapur branch of Safa Baitul Maal in various localities like Subhash Nagar, Kareem Colony, Mominpura, Arafat Colony under the supervision of youth of Khanapur; in addition the central function of three mandals namely Khanapur mandal, Gadam mandal and Pembi mandal was held in Jama Masjid, Khanapur.
