Welfare services of Manjlegaon branch

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like earlier, this year too, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 6 large animals was performed and the meat was distributed in Indira Nagar, Azad Nagar, Ashok Nagar, Fatima Nagar, Ayesha Nagar, Bilal Mohalla, Phalle Nagar, Gandhipura, Phakatpura, Rahmat Nagar, Moghal Mohalla, Baghban Mohalla and other localities and in villages like People Town, Bada gaon, Mangrol, Lowal, Keesapuri, Devkhera, Hathod Camp and other villages. A sum of Rs.3000 was issued for treatment to a cancer patient. Assistance through grains, oil and cash worth Rs.4900 was issued for the marriage of a deserving girl. In this way, a total sum of Rs.107800 was spent this month.

Welfare services of Manjlegaon branch

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, cash assistance of about Rs.22000 was provided to 6 needy people. A sum of Rs.2500 was given for marriage to a deserving person. Assistance of Rs.6000 was provided to 7 deserving people. Poor and needy patients were transported to different hospitals through Safa ambulance incurring an expenditure of Rs.8865. A total sum of Rs.39365 was spent on all these welfare services.

Welfare services of Manjlegaon branch

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, like earlier, this year too, Ramzan ration worth Rs.400700 was distributed to 600 poor widows and deserving people belonging to Manjlegaon and its surrounding villages. Likewise new clothes worth Rs.20000 were distributed to 52 helpless needy people during Ramzan. During summer, cool and clean water was served incurring an expenditure of Rs.19710. Assistance of Rs.8000 was provided for the marriages of 4 deserving girls. A public meeting on the topic 'service to humanity and unity of community' was held in Eidgah ground in which the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab participated as chief guest. After the meeting, awareness on service to humanity was created in the public of Manjlegaon and the people visited the office of Safa and vowed to provide assistance. A sum of Rs.5000 was spent for ambulance.

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, in view of summer, cool and clean drinking water facilities have been setup at bus stand and in villages, through which large number of people are being benefited daily and on which an expenditure of Rs.2715 has been incurred. Assistance through grains and oil worth Rs.10300 was provided for the marriages of 2 poor girls. A sum of Rs.6500 was given to 3 deserving patients. In this way a total assistance of Rs.19515 has been provided this month.

Welfare services of Manjlegaon branch

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, a 30-member delegation comprising scholars, compassionate donors and members of the Manjlegaon branch of Safa participated in the 2-day annual training session and public meeting organised by the central Safa Baitul Maal and returned to Manjlegaon with good reflections and future resolutions. Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, setup of drinking water facilities in villages has been initiated. Civil hospital was toured where patients were enquired and fruits and other items worth Rs.1650 were distributed to them. Assistance of Rs.11500 was provided for treatment to a needy patient. Assistance through grains and oil worth Rs.10700 was provided for the marriages of poor girls. Rs.2000 had been given to a distressed poor widow. During the current month, it has been planned to setup water facilities at two different locations of Manjlegaon and in surrounding villages and to conduct free medical camps.

Annual Report of Manjlegaon branch

The Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal was established in the year 2015. With the assistance of scholars, compassionate donors and members, the Manjlegaon branch of Safa carried out the following welfare services throughout the year:

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, pensions of Rs.48500 were distributed each month to poor widows and destitute people. Assistance of Rs.90800 was provided for treatment and medicines to poor and deserving patients suffering from various diseases. Free medical camps were held for the benefit of poor and needy people in slum areas where services of four doctors were availed incurring an expenditure of Rs.8990. A large number of patients have benefited from the medical camps. The civil hospital was visited each month where patients were enquired and fruits were distributed to them at an expense of Rs.1100. Assistance of Rs.33900 was provided for business to unemployed people with large families. Assistance of Rs.5000 was provided to a deserving person for house repair. Conducting programmes in schools, educational materials worth Rs.2900 were distributed to needy students. Assistance totalling Rs.102950 was provided for marriage to deserving couples belonging to Manjlegaon and surrounding villages. On behalf of the Manjlegaon branch of Safa and Jamiat Ulema, a successful public meeting was held in Manjlegaon. Cool water was arranged for the participants in the meeting and shawls were presented to scholars on which a sum of Rs.1500 was spent. Ramzan ration worth Rs.371900 was distributed to poor people in slum areas and assistance worth Rs. 156970 through cash and essentials was provided to poor deserving people. During summer, cool and filtered water was arranged for passengers and wayfarers at bus stand on which a sum of Rs. 20504 was spent. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani of 13 large animals was performed and the meat distributed in Manjlegaon and surrounding villages incurring an expenditure of Rs.150950. During winter, fine blankets were distributed at bus-stand, intersections, civil hospital and slum areas to people distressed due to cold, on which and expenditure of Rs.28900 was incurred. Ambulance costing Rs.213400 has been purchased to serve needy people. In support of All Muslim Personal Law Board’s campaign against Uniform Civil Code, the Manjlegaon branch of Safa took active part in the signature campaign jointly with Jamiat Ulema. In this way a total sum of Rs.1238264 was spent on all these welfare services.

Welfare services of Manjlegaon branch

Through the Manjlegaon branch of Safa Baitul Maal, in view of winter season, 150 high quality warm sheets were distributed to 150 poor and deserving people at bus stand, intersections and civil hospital on which an expenditure of 28900 was incurred. Rs.3000 was given for treatment to a deserving sick boy. And a civil hospital was toured were patients where enquired and fruits etc were distributed to them. In this way, a total of Rs.31900 had been spent during the current month.
