Welfare services of Nirmal branch

Through the Nirmal branch of Safa Baitul Maal, assistance of Rs.2000 was provided for the treatment of 2 poor patients. Way fare of Rs.1000 was provided to 2 unknown travellers. Consultative sessions on various issues were held with scholars and Imams of Nirmal in which it was decided to conduct interschool quiz competition next month on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Through the Nirmal branch of Safa Baitul Maal, on the occasion of Ramzan, Ramzan ration was distributed to 100 poor households belonging to 10 localities of Nirmal and its surroundings. With each pack costing Rs.1100, ration worth Rs.110000 was distributed. A sum of Rs.500 was provided as fare to 2 poor travellers.

Through the Nirmal branch of Safa Baitul Maal, assistance of Rs.2000 was provided for the treatment of a poor ailing child. A representative from the Nirmal branch was sent to the four-day accounts and soft skills training programme organised by the central Safa Baitul Maal for providing special accounts training. In view of summer, water facility has been setup at the Nirmal bus stand, where 1000 litres of water is being served to passengers and wayfarers daily.

Through the Nirmal branch of Safa Baitul Maal, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, Qurbani meat was distributed to 200 poor households. A meeting ‘service to humanity and message of humanity’ was held in December in which the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab participated and gave a special address. An auto trolley worth Rs.50000 has been purchased for scrap collection through which scrap shall be collected from surrounding areas and the income generated shall be utilised for providing assistance to poor and deserving people. Various hospitals were visited where 200 deserving patients were enquired and fruits were distributed to them. Signature campaign in support of All India Muslim Personal Board’s campaign against Uniform Civil Code was organised. To create awareness in public, more than hundred copies of Payam-e-Rashadi of the central president were read on the occasion of Friday prayers. During winter, 250 blankets were distributed in various backward areas of Nirmal. Assistance was provided for treatment to a girl injured in an accident. On the occasion of 12 Rabbi-ul-Awwal, hospitals were visited, where patients were enquired and fruits were distributed to 200 poor patients. Blood donation camp was organised for timely availability of blood. Clothes were distributed to 55 poor women. Seerat quiz competition was organised in the month of Rabbi-ul-Awwal that was attended by 400 students from various schools and colleges; Cash prizes of Rs.2000, Rs.1500 and Rs.1000 were given to those standing first, second and third and 35 consolation prizes were also given. 50 kg of rice was provided for the marriage of deserving girl. Assistance of Rs.2500 was provided for treatment to a poor patient.
