Successful conduct of one-day Service to Humanity workshop in Nerul, Mumbai

            Under the aegis of Safa Baitul Maal, a one-day service to humanity workshop was held on Sunday the 21st of August from 9 am to 5 pm at Khanqah Nomaniyah Dar-ul-Uloom Rabbani in Nerul, Mumbai chaired by Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi Sahab and supervised by Moulana Zainul Abideen Sahab, deputy director of Darul Uloom Imam Rabbani. The programme began at 9 am with Qiraat and Naat after which Moulana Zainul Abideen Sahab highlighting the importance of the programme gave a short introductory speech. After the introductory speech, the central president Moulana Gayas Ahmed Rashadi citing various events on service to humanity from Quran and Hadees and from the Seerat of Prophet (SAW), and the feats accomplished due to the illuminating and beneficial lives of the elders and ancestors during the Khanqahi System and throwing detailed light on the importance and requirement of service to humanity in present India, created awareness about service to humanity; the students and the teachers listened to the speech of the central president with utmost concentration and attention and noted down most prominent points in their diaries. After this all the services of Safa Baitul Maal had been presented with the help of a projector in the form of short video documentary and it had been encouraged to serve in various departments of social service. Considering the enthusiasm and excitement of the students, the central president compiled small video clips related to service to humanity and presented to the students and after each video asked the students about what they learnt. Upon the questions, the students of even the lower grades demonstrated extremely amazing response and gave stunning spontaneous answers in a bold manner on the stage. Some students surprised everyone by answering in fluent English. The students giving answers were awarded prizes along with books of the central president, “Service to Humanity and Rights of the People in the light of Quranic Verses” and “Children’s Assembly”. By the grace of Allah, the first session thus concluded. After Namaz-e-Zohar and lunch, the second session started at 3 pm sharp; the incharge persons of the Madrasa, with the help of a projector, presented a video clip based on all the activities being conducted under the supervision of Hazrat Moulana Khaleel-ur-Rahman Sajjad Nomani Nadvi Naqshbandi Sahab (DB) like Khanqah Nomaniyah Mujaddidiya, Darul Uloom Imam Rabbani, Al-Mahad-ul-Imam Shah Waliullah Li-Darasat-ul-Islamia, Al-Mahad-ul-Imam Mohammad Qasim-ul-Nanawati (RH), Madrasa Khadeejatul Kubra Lil-Banat and Al-Rahman Foundation; after this clip of 15-minute duration, Moulana Habeeb-ur-Rahman, director of Madrasa Arabia Irshad-ul-Uloom, Meer Mohammad Pahadi stated most important issues related to funeral and burial and practically presented the method of giving bath and shrouding the dead body. After this, for about one and a half hours, Dr. Mohammad Muzammil Anzar, director of Safa health department gave first aid training. In the closing phase the central president thanked the administration and expressing pleasure on the enthusiasm and excitement demonstrated by the students, congratulated the services of the incharge persons and teachers of the Madrasa and prayed for Hazrat Moulana. Moulana Habeeb-ur-Rahman Sambhali Sahab, teacher of Madrasa Darul Uloom Imam Rabbani, expressing gratitude presented his good impressions on the entire services of Safa and congratulated the officials of Safa and thanked them for success of the workshop. The program concluded successfully upon supplication by the central president. The day-long workshop was telecast live on the Safa Channel Online; people from different parts of the world have seen this program. In this programme, apart from the central president of Safa Baitul Maal, Moulana Habeeb-ur-Rahman Husami, Dr. Muzammil Anzar, Hafiz Mohammad Abdul Muqtadir Imran, and Mohammad Muslim Ansari participated on behalf of the central Safa Baitul Maal.
